Enrique Zapata reportedly set a new world record after completing an unbelievable 12,345 pull-ups in 24 hours — averaging around 514 pull-ups every single hour for an entire day.

The achievement didn’t happen overnight either. Zapata reportedly spent nearly five years training specifically for the challenge, building the endurance, recovery, and mental discipline needed to sustain that level of output for 24 straight hours.

What makes records like this so insane isn’t just strength — it’s endurance. After the first few hours, the challenge becomes as much mental as physical, with fatigue, pain, and recovery all stacking up in real time.

For comparison, the reported women’s 24-hour pull-up record stands at 7,079 pull-ups, which is also an incredible feat of endurance and upper-body strength.

The internet’s reaction has mostly been the same:

Most people are exhausted just reading the numbers.
