Shia LaBeouf is reportedly facing additional legal trouble after authorities in New Orleans connected him to another misdemeanor simple battery charge tied to a Mardi Gras altercation earlier this year.

According to police reports, the incident allegedly took place on February 17 at R Bar in the Faubourg Marigny area, where LaBeouf was accused of becoming aggressive during an altercation involving multiple people. Authorities claim he allegedly struck two men, including a bartender, before bystanders intervened.

Reports later stated that LaBeouf voluntarily turned himself in after learning an additional warrant had reportedly been issued connected to the same incident. His attorney argued he was being treated more harshly because of his celebrity status.

The story quickly spread online because LaBeouf has remained one of Hollywood’s most unpredictable public figures for years, with past incidents, arrests, and public struggles frequently making headlines alongside discussions about addiction and mental health.

For many people online, the situation feels like another chapter in the long-running cycle of controversy surrounding one of Hollywood’s most talented — and most turbulent — actors.
