Charles Oliveira, known to fans as “Do Bronx,” has quietly built a farm in Brazil’s Vale do Ribeira region that has gradually turned into a sanctuary for animals.
Located several hours from São Paulo, the property is reportedly home to cattle, goats, horses, birds, and many other animals living safely under Oliveira’s care. Away from the intensity of the UFC spotlight, the former champion spends much of his time on the farm surrounded by nature and animals instead of cameras and arenas.
What makes the story especially meaningful is Oliveira’s background. He has spoken before about how his father worked in a slaughterhouse while he was growing up, something that reportedly left a deep impact on him from a young age.
Now years later, after fighting his way from poverty to becoming one of the UFC’s biggest stars, Oliveira has created a completely different environment for animals — one centered around protection rather than survival.
For many fans, the story became another reminder that some of the toughest athletes inside competition often show the most compassion outside of it.
