A Tesla Cybertruck reportedly exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Wednesday morning. Video footage shared on social media platform X shows the truck engulfed in flames near the hotel’s lobby. The person who recorded the incident described the Cybertruck as having “blown up.”

The cause of the fire remains unclear, and authorities have not confirmed whether it resulted from a mechanical issue or external factors. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police stated that they are actively investigating the incident, which was reported at 8:41 AM local time. Firefighters and police quickly responded, extinguishing the flames.

Police have since characterized the fire as “an isolated incident” and extended their thanks to Tesla CEO Elon Musk for providing data to assist in their investigation.

Unfortunately, the fire left seven people injured, and one individual was tragically confirmed dead. Further updates are expected as the investigation unfolds.
